Signing Up for Rüt Cellars is quick and easy:
Email & Password
On the Sign Up page enter your email and password you want to use for the account.
To verify your email address go to your email account and click the link in the email.
You will be directed back to Rüt Cellars (you may need to login)
Signup with Google
On the Sign Up page just click the Google button.
Select the account that you want to use. Approve any requested permissions for your account (these vary based on your Google Account settings).
You will be directed to the Onboarding page for Rüt Cellars.

When you first sign-up for Rüt Cellars you will go through a quick onboarding to get you started with:
Setting up your first Sensor.
Setting up your first Location.
Adding your first Food item.
Taking your first sensor Reading (for manual sensors) or making your first Sync (for connected sensors ).
Onboarding is a one-time event that, once completed, you will not need to perform again.

To add a new sensor follow these steps:
From the menu click, Sensors.
Then click, Add New Sensor.
For a connected sensor that Rüt Cellars currently supports with an automated connection, click the Automated button.
For SensorPush devices with a G1 WiFi Gateway follow the instructions from SensorPush to setup your device and gateway. Make sure you login to the SensorPush Dashboard one time and agree to the terms of service. Once you've logged in that initial time, your account will have access. In the Rüt Cellars app, you will enter the email and password for your SensorPush dashboard account authorizing the Rüt Cellars app to connect on your behalf. You will then just select the Gateway, then the sensor that you want to connect, and then click Add Sensor.
For more details about adding your SensorPush device to Rüt Cellars, please see the FAQ titled "Adding a Connected Sensor" in the "Details" category.
For any other sensor, click the Manual button.
Then enter a Name, select a sensor type for the drop-down selector, and then click Add Sensor.

To add a new location follow these steps:
From the menu click, Locations.
Then click, Add New Location.
Enter then Name, a Description (optional), select a location Type, then select a Sub-type, then select a sensor from the list (only unassigned sensors will show in the list). If you have no unassigned sensors, you can add a new sensor by clicking the "New" button.
Then click Create Location.

To add a Food to a Location follow these steps:
From the menu click, Locations.
Find the location where you want to add a food.
Then click either, Add Manually
For devices without a camera or no image files to upload, you can use the add manually feature. Select the food from the list, then select the appropriate unit type, then enter the amount of the food that you are storing, then change the date if it was stored previous to the current date, then click Add Food.
Or click, Add by Photo (recommended)
If you are using a device with a camera by clicking the Use Camera button and take a photo OR you can pick a previously captured image from your gallery by clicking the Upload Image button.
Once your image is sent then Identification will start and then provide a list for you to pick the specific matching items that your are storing. Adjust the amount and units and select the Checkbox for the item(s) you arr adding. Then click Add Selected Items.
If you have any issues in the process, want to try a different photo etc, just click the Start Over button.

To Take A Reading from a manual sensor follow these steps:
On the Dashboard, click Take Reading of the applicable location/sensor pair.
Enter the appropriate temperature and humidity (if applicable)
Enter the Date and Time
Then click Submit Reading
To Sync Sensor for an Automated (connected) sensor follow these steps:
On the Dashboard, click Sync Sensor of the applicable location/sensor pair. All of the data since the last sync will be downloaded. Syncing can take from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on how long it has been since the last sync.

Premium is available by two different plans:
Annual Recurring Subscription
Payment for one-year of use (non-recurring)
To purchase Premium, click on Go Premium in the app. Select the plan of your choice by clicking the Upgrade Now button in your selected plan. Complete the purchase process screen. You will receive an email invoice and purchase verification. Cancellation of subscription is performed by clicking the button in the email received upon purchase. Refunds are not provided and your account will continue to function until the end of your subscription period.
Rüt Cellars uses RevenueCat software to manage plans and Stripe for payment processing; both services follow all security practices necessary of modern e-commerce purchase platforms.
